ELA (Grammar/Writing/Literature/Poetry

  • Grammar/Writing: This week in Grammar, scholars will continue working on object pronouns. In Writing, the scholars will continue learning about story middles.
  • Literature: This week we approach the end of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. In Poetry, we finish learning “The Fool’s Prayer and will practice next week for recitations.

  •  Poetry: Scholars will continue to memorize, The Fool's Prayer and they will recite for a grade the week of 5/25.
  • History: This week the scholars will continue to explore Texas as it struggles to gain its independence from Mexico and the challenges associated with establishing a state.
  • Science: This week the scholars will continue to learn about the circulation and respiration with a focus on the heart as well as blood.
  • Math: This week scholars will review the previous lesson as we continue towards our end of year assessment.
