ELA (Grammar/Writing/Literature/Poetry
- Grammar/Writing: This week in Grammar, scholars will our continue grammar unit about prepositional phrases. This week scholars will be introduced to parables with main ideas. The scholars will be discussing “The Lame Man and the Blind Man” as well as “The Crying Woman”.
- Literature: This week scholars will finish Carry On, Mr. Bowditch and have an assessment. Our next classic is The Princess and the Goblin.
- Poetry: Scholars will continue to practice memorizing Paul Revere's Ride. Recitation is 3/10.
- History: This week scholars will continue to learn about the dynasties of China.
- Science: This week scholars will be introduced to our new unit on Using Natural Resources for Energy.
- Math: This week scholars will take a test over decimals and be introduced to frequency tables (dot plots).
