ELA (Grammar/Writing/Literature/Poetry

  • Grammar/Writing: This week in Grammar, scholars will start to review what subject pronouns in preparation for their test next week. In Writing, the scholars are going to continue to analyze and discuss the fable "Romulus and Remus".
  • Literature: This week scholars will start our new and last classic The Wizard of Oz. Please ensure that your scholar has their own copy to be used for annotation.

  •  Poetry: Scholars will be given a new poem, The Fool's Prayer and they will recite for a grade the week of 5/25.
  • History: This week scholars will be assessed on the American Revolution and we will begin Texas History.
  • Science: This week scholars will continue working on their group project on Using Natural Resources. The scholars will present their project to the class on 4/21.
  • Math: This week scholars will continue with our unit on measurements.
