ELA (Grammar/Writing/Literature/Poetry
- Grammar/Writing: This week scholars will be introduced to predicate adjectives in Grammar. In Writing, the scholars will explore the narrative style of mythology by looking not only at dialogue and monologue but also how conflict plays a role in narratives.
- Literature: This week in Literature scholars will continue to work on their Robin Hood essay packet that is due on 12/16. The next classic we are going to read is Carry On, Mr. Bowditch.
- Poetry: Scholars will begin a new poem this week, Sonnet 116 by Shakespeare. The scholars will begin reciting the poem on 12/16.
- History: This week we will learn take start their review for their Mid-Unit Assessment on Medieval Europe.
- Science: This week we will continue the unit on living things and start reviewing for their test.
- Math: This week scholars will learn about mixed number fractions and take a test on Ch. 5. The scholars are also going to be introduced to mixed number and improper fractions.
